Re: rolling burnouts
i learned all the burn outs on my own before any other stunts, even before pow pow power wheelies, control them with front break, this may be true or not but if you are right handed the left circles will easier and the rights are harder and same visa versa, those rolling burnouts can be controlled almost like lean angle but at the same time not really

Re: rolling burnouts
Burnouts are pretty basic, and I'm no pro either.
where are you putting your feet when your trying this? I seem to have more control when mine are on the pegs, or off the ground at least.
It's necassary to drag the front brakes for sure!
Don't worry, keep practicing, and learn to use all your tentacles(sp).

Re: rolling burnouts
before i learned 8s, i got my rights and lefts down. then worked on going from doin a donut to straightening it out, then it was easy to go from right to left and left to right. I feel better startin going right, but i hardly ever start left

Re: rolling burnouts
I cannot believe there is a post on doing rolling burnouts that is two pages long. I mean it's common sense, like dude stated earlier,if your having a hard time doing burnouts, then maybe you shouldn't be on a bike at all.

Re: rolling burnouts
as for burning tires quick... run a harder compound tire, and not the soft compound tires the bike shops try to sell you.... i like continentals... hook good for wheelies (except the rain) and break looks easy for burnouts, and doesnt eat your tires as quick
btw... if you cant slow down a straight rolling burnout doing O's or figure 8's is going to be even more of a pain! once you get the tire spinning, apply more brake, and let out of the gas a lil.... that should slow you down... once you get the speed you want... just ease off the brake as needed! hope this helps

Re: rolling burnouts
If you've never done a burnout in your life you should be able to do donuts to the left or right your first day. Turning where-ever you want or fig 8's will come shortly after.
Combo burnouts are Example: AC Farias & Teach
