Boycott Hooters

Heres the deal, I moved to Myrtle beach 6 months ago, ran into some stunters killin the Hooters parkin lot, said they been ridin there almost a year. I became friends with the riders and we all rode there the past 6 months no wrecks no problems. 2 Wednesdays ago 2 of us were riding there (like we have been for months) and the manager comes out and tells us they got a letter from corperate sayin we cant ride there. Apparantly there was an incident that made the suits at corperate get their panties in a bunch and send a letter shutting down a bike night that we had for over a year. I went and sat down with two of the managers, explained our situation, showed them waivers we would gladly sign, and said we would comprimise and do pretty much anything to continue our bike night. We usually brought anywhere between 15 to 75 people every week who all spent money (Depending on the weather). We never got an explanation on the initial cause of the ousting, and were asked never to ride in the lot again. Only told the suits said its a liabillity a nd there were too many loopholes in waivers. Making me think why do waivers even exist, or even contracts for that matter. Lets say hypothetically some one wrecked and sued. Do broke stunters have the money to battle a multi miliion dollar company like Hooters? All they would have to do is run it thru our great judicial system for a few years till the stunter ran out of money. Anyway all I really wanted to say is Fu(k you to Corperate America and The suits at Hooters that shut down our bike night for no good reason. (Because if there is a good reason I never heard it) All I heard is Hooters Corperate people saying im a little bitch, and were too much of pussies to let our customers see a good show. We'll let our waitresses let there **** hang out (which im not complaining) but stunts and bikers are too dangerous and durty for people with kids. The parents might get the wrong impression...... What the **** **** you suits we found another spot 2 miles down the road THE DOG HOUSE north that has a flatter parkin lot and a cool owner who will enjoy and appreciate all the added business. THANKS DAVE U THE MAN. We had at least 50 bikes out there last night and thats just the begenning.
SO PLEASE DONT GIVE YOUR MONEY OR SUPPORT TO HOOTERS, THEY wont do **** for us exept lame excuses why they suck. Help us by boycotting all hooters bike nights, unless the y let u stunt. There food sucks and its too expensive anyway. stop by and spread some hate.

Hooters in SD doesnt have a parking lot, but some of the girls waved us down and gave us free food and hung out at the bar with us, cause we started doing laps, and each time we'd do something new. AND they have a military discount, and nice senery... so i'm sorry your hooters suck, but I'll still go the few times that i do.

Re: Boycott Hooters

You've rode there for 6 months and think you own the joint???????

They LET you ride there for 6 months, they didn't have to do that. Corp. sent em a note about an incident to shut it down, no more stunts. They dont have to explain **** to you.

Obviously you've become more of a liability then anything to Hooters so you got kicked out and ur sad now.

**** it........I'm goin to hooters

Maybe we should cancell stunt shows everywhere then, Maybe you dont got enough experience or controll not to "shoot your bike into the crowd". But I never had that problem all the years Ive been riding. Seriously thats not my show ender, and Im not a millionaire like you so I cant purchase spendy insurance every Wednesday night. We also keep squids off the lot so you couldnt ride anyway. So go grab your ***** back off your boyfriend, and if people stand too close thats not my problem. People need to be responsible for themselves and if someones doing somethin you think is dangerous ****** leave. end of story, everyone has free will so leave and take your kid so squiddy cant "splatter a kid into the pavement."

We've spent plenty of money and brought many o people to that place in the year, I do believe they could have givin me a legitimate reason. They did what they had to do, now Im doin what I gotta do. Have fun supportin someone who hates on stunters. I hope your lot gets shut down becuase of some suit, then youll see my position. If you even stunt, because I know most of the stunters in PGH and I dont know you. Enjoy hooters shitty food and overpriced drinks.

Re: Boycott Hooters

Playing devils advocate I think they are worried of the reprocussions if an accident hurt anyone not just the rider. And as for money to sue, I can refer you to alot of lawyers that take on cases free if they think they can pul thier 20-60% of the take even if it is settled prior to trial. Additionally Hooters are franchises with limited liability on the corporate side. So the effects of what your dealing with there are mostly likely from the owner of that specific location. It is easy to say "corporate made us do it" which places the blame at an apparent higher authority with no direct repuse to the individual store. All it takes is one single complaint and your fun is gone. Hope things get better for you guys and you find a new place to host. J
