Re: Boycott Hooters
what happens if u shoot a bike into a crowd of people?...ohh im sorry about your broken leg and killing your kid..we have a waiver so its ok...shows take insurance because of the risk to spectators not the riders..hooters has no protection against being sued if u splatter a kid into the pavement...sorry your wrong now stop whining
im 100% with you on this one wiggles....people dont really think about what the out come of their actions could be.....hell i wouldnt let people ride at my work, if something happens then im fucked, no one else, me....i dont blaim hooters for covering their asses at all....

Re: Boycott Hooters
Hooters has garbage ******* out here and garbage wings to boot. I hardly ever go to Hooters, but I'm not going to boycott them. Either way bro, not trying to be an *** but you are wrong on this one. They have every right to tell you to leave without a reason. And as Tokyo said all Hooters are franchised and I imagine you aren't the only one riding at Hooters in this country. Someone, somewhere is already doing it and it's a SERIOUS liability to ride without insurance. Just be happy you even got to do that show and get exposure. You basically just received FREE exposure on Hooters dime... it's not like you were bringing them this massive amout of business. Patrons at Hooters are already there for a reason, you brought in a minimal crowd... but either way Hooters was the key and you held that key for 6 months.
If you want to get that spot back, then yes... you need to get insurance for your shows and make sure you and Hooters work together to organize shows. But it's going to be a serious headache so if I were you I'd just leave it alone and let it be b/c you WON'T have the money to do this legally and properly.

Re: Boycott Hooters
I hate Hooters and the horrible food they serve. I say if you found a better lot to play in, do it. Get over the Hooters lot, they kicked you out, so what. It happens to thousands of bikers.
Your better off with the new lot so take advantage of it and stop wasting your time thinking about the past.

Re: Boycott Hooters
Man, im from clearwater where Hooters all started, even went to school wit one of the guy's kids that orignaly started it all. Sorry if ur hooters suck up there but i happen to like ******* and wings. Even tho hooters aint the only place like that (we tend to have alot of tittie and wing joints around tampa...hey, sex sells) id still go to hooters over any other joint like it, cant beat the buffalo shrimp and the wings are off the hook. But like everybody else said, stuntin on private property costs insurance and if hooters aint willin to pay for it (and they sure as hell aint) then just find another spot. Just cause u think that u brought a couple people to a restaurant doesnt mean that u own the place, u aint gangster like that homie. So, what if u start stuntin at this other spot and after a couple months somethin happens by accident...what u think is gonna happen? Ur gonna get kicked outa there and have to move onto another spot. Ur basically **** outa luck unless u find a friend that owns a bar or restaurant that will let that **** happen and doesnt mind gettin sued by on-lookers when somethin goes wrong (and if u give it enough time, no matter how good u are somethin will happen, just the nature of the game...hence why people have cages on their bikes lol).

Re: Boycott Hooters
I never said I owened the place or pretended like I should, we brought a lot of people in that place, I know because of the amount of feedback I got from their customers. And I quote "We heard you guys rode out here on Wednesdays and decided to bring the kids out" not to mention the people that seen us off of hwy 17 and pulled over to watch and end up goin in and spendin money. Also not to mention all the money we spent in there on a weekly basis. Then to milk us all winter and right before the busy season boot us with no good ****** reason. Looks like our money was good enough all winter when the only people in the place was the stunters and everyone watchin the free show now that summers here and there not counting on our business its like ok guys we made it thru the slow season now **** off. Its like none of you guys ever got mad about losin a spot, if you want to suppport people that just dump you after gettin what they need thats fine, let people walk all over you. I was under the impression stunters wanted to ban together and get all this liability **** behind us and find a way to work with corperate sponcers, not get chewed up and spit out.

And by the way we got a new spot so if you haters want to come down and stunt ... oops your too scared of shootin your bike into the crowd, scrap that idea. Yea hooters kicked us out big deal huh I just dont like my freinds and I bein used to draw business (and spend money) during the slow season and the week or 2 before the crowd hits boom were out. just too much of a coincidence

Re: Boycott Hooters
Your also 1000 times more likely to get killed in a car wreck than a stunt show so you better turn in your drivers license. Im not bitchin cause we lost a lot (we have others) its HOW they did it and the concienent timing is what pisses me off...... and retard rednecks in coon skin hats with 0 skill, among other things.

You would not believe the time I have to waste if I find something worth wasting it on. I think what they did was shitty and this is one of my only outlets to bring it to anyones attention. They do what they do, and I got to do what I got to do, I want to bring this up and every myrtle beach stunter is behind me.

still dont matter whether or not ill get killed in a car wreck or not...still gotta have insurance. when an insurance company looks at something and then looks at the risk of something happening they assign a cost to it, plain and simple. hooters aint gonna pay for that cost to put on a show, busy season or not. its like livin in a neighborhood that doesnt allow pits and u own one. there is a chance that it could turn and bite somebody in the ***, then u loose ur house for not bein allowed to have it there in the first place. Any of that makin sense to u yet? Just find a spot where u can get all buddy buddy wit the owner (and somethin that aint franchised) and u will be pretty much set...that is until the cops crash the party or u and ur friends take somebody out on accident.

Re: Boycott Hooters
Most defienetly, its not the end of the world, but if i can get a few people not to go there or stop at another restaurant instead, its enough for me. In no way do I think ill break the franchise and im not tryin, its just fucked up how it happened and im lettin as many people know about it as possible. If i personally know of a co. not supporting stunters I wont spend money there. I will also buy my products from people that do support us as opposed to someone whos a user.

Re: Boycott Hooters
You were riding on someone elses property, and when the owners of the property asked you to leave you come on here ranting about it. You also seem to insist that you know what's best for their business.
I don't know how the lot is set up but could there be a good chance that you were in someones way? Taking up parking spots? It doesnt sound like you guys were hovering in a corner. How close were you to the actual storefront? Some people like to enjoy their girls and wings without it sounding like a swarm of lawnmowers is about to attack outside.
You have to remember, no matter where you stunt, there is a 99% chance you are breaking some law.
