For me, YES! It made a big difference. I struggled with them under neath but on top it feel very comfortable. Later I might put them back to stock.

if you flip them and keep them under the tripple there just as high an doesn't lower the bike as much and you don't really want the front lowered for stoppies

Yeah, its screws with the balance point. Stock clip ons flipped is perfect for me. Fits with and upper.

heres alittle secreat for those who have a 636. flip the stock tripple clamp upside down and put the clipons on top then you dont have to lover the bike.

if you do it this way you will still have to lower the bike unless you don't put your fork tubes all the way thru your clipons and you will have to move your ignition an you will also have to cut all the **** off the bottom of the tripple or it sticks up like a spike ,and if you have full fairings the clipons will hit your upper
