clip ons
I was just wondering if there was such a huge difference in the vortex clipons and the StunTex Clipons. And what are the differences ? Besides like 40 bucks. The main reason i want to get clipons is to make room for my hand brake . I have some big *** hands. For me to have a finger on the clutch and the brake, My palm is hanging half off the stock clipon And its killing my wrist.

Re: clip ons
get some woodcraft and tell em felony freestyle reffered you haha for real thats what we all run and they r pimp, flip em, tons of room, never have to drop forks to get clipons off again, spare poles are cheap as hell, i cant comment on the other brands but woodcrafts are pimp

Re: clip ons
votex and woocrafts are all 7 mm downward angle, when you flip em you get an upward......the same angle so its preference.i broke a votex had the the homey at the dealership call them to see if they sell individuals.....NOPE!gotta buy a whole set.called woodcraft and talked to nick and he said in the future they usually have blemished ones they will give/sell individually so you chose.stuntmes are just no namers that are decent.go with the woodcrafts

Re: clip ons
I will be able to tell you more when my stuntex clips come in (hopefully today) I know they still have the 10 degree angle vs the new vortex with the 7 degree thats why i bought them.. other than that they look the same as vortex. 12 inch replaceable bar and yes you do have to pull the tripple to replace the whole bar... but you hardly ever break the clamp and to me it was worth it because i like the 10 degree bars better than 7 degree... if i wanted 7 degree bars... woodcraft is the way to got.. i love them just not enough angle for me
Oh and flipped is the only way to run...

Re: clip ons
The length is 12"..... they are 7/8 bars 1/8" wall thikness... and all of them are replaceable... infact they all have the same bars basically.. a 7/8 bar is a 7/8 bar..lol.. any tube will switch into the other...

Re: clip ons
I have the stuntex/stuntme clipons with the 10degree angle on my f4i. awesome set and I feel like I have alot more control. I had the FI 0degree which are ok too but I really like the angle. I'll post pics later

Re: clip ons
Quick question About These clip on's
I Know What they Are But b4 i buy them,
I Just want to Know What Angles Are you referencing..
And How Much or How less is in Which Direction.
Is it 1) Angle From Bar end To Tank ??? (Towards You / Or Away from you)
2) Or Angle From Clamp to the Floor??? ( Downward/Upward)
And Either Way. Does the Number of MM's Increase the angle.
Or Close the Angle??????

Re: clip ons
Daammmn... Were those tighhtened down by mighty man???
I always torque mine down to like prolly 15 ftlbs or so.. just enought to keep them nice and tight but hopefully they will just push in when dropped... my last set were a little tight and dropped a circle, broke off at the base(stock clips)

But, the bike crashed hard, and was goin fast.
But even so, if ya don't tighten down the clamps, they tend to spin on the fork itself, like when ya mousetrap. The forks are dropped down a bit in the clamps. The only problem with these is they do tend to spin.
On a side note, how do people run front fenders on a f4i setup w/929 front end, with the clip ons up top? How do you keep the upper from hitting the fender, with a full fairing setup?
