929 help

Hey got a prob. with the rear pegs when i hit 12 or pretty close to 12 my rear pegs fold in and yeah i crash didn't work out 2 well but anyone have any ideas to keep it from doing that

so you hit 12 and your pegs fold in???

1. how fast did you go up?
2. are your pegs loose on the bracket?

naw there not loose but if i clutch up 1st and go to far back they fold in. everytime i try to go 12 or damn close it folds in

it seems like a tension issue but you say that they're not loose, so again, how fast do u pop up?

This shouldn't happen w/ a 929.

Sounds like your leaning too far forward. Try straightening your arms out, bend your legs a little and lean back w/ the bike.

ok so here's the deal. for clarification, ur clutching up nice n easy, u got both feet on rider sets and it's the passenger pegs folding in the back correct?

they could
1. not be all the way down, the pegs are ment to be stored in so they are spring loaded
2. the load spring may be worn out or the notch it locks into may be damaged. spring wear can cause it to not lock right relating to that notch

^ omg u're so ******* dumb... here's a tip.. do NOT give advice on something you have no idea about.. the springs being worn out? not having enough tension??? my pass peg has no springs or clips, works fine... it's dudes posture.. i had a 929 also.. peg never folded

maybe you are not ready for 12s yet
do regular wheelies with engine brake do you have balance point down yet?
