Re: 929 help

Just buy a stainless steel hoseclamp...I think 1 1/2" long will work..put it where it folds....tighten with 5/16" nut driver....problem solved.

Re: 929 help

You do not need anything to keep the peg down on a 929..... ya just gotta get used to leaning back and hanging off the bike.

The more you try to stand straight up the pegs WILL want to fold... but once you get used to the bike and how to properly lean you'll never have the problem again.

Are you completely comfortable w/ coasting and scraping yet?

Re: 929 help

OOOOOR if your having a problem gettin em up (no pun intended) but you CAN in fact 12, and your worried about snappin the peg, get the fattys or frame sliders that bolt in back there. I know it cost more than a run of the mill pix, but itll be stronger, and keep your bike a little more protected. Itll probally be unlikely you can change your posture right away, so this would help you slowly adjust and get used to hanging off the bike.

Re: 929 help

Dude for your passenger peg to fold in while you are standin on it in staggard position, you'd have to be damn near bear huggin your gas tank at 1 o'clock. I can't imagine any pass. peg folding just doin a staggard, let alone a 929. The only thing I could think of is clutchin it so hard and fast that the momentum some how has the force to push the pass peg out of it's locked position while your foot is on there. I guess that COULD be possible.
