Re: handbrake problem...

couldn't hurt to just check your level if nothing else it will eliminate one thing off your list of possible causes

just fill it to the full line it is there for a reason.....

Re: handbrake problem...

Thats all fine. I took apart my hand brake master and cleaned it out. Its fine. Its happening in the lines some where. The rear brake works mint. As soon as i hit the hand brake the rear wheel locks up untill i let it sit for a second then it releases. I have had a few hand brakes and this has me stumped?????

Re: handbrake problem...

if you have stock lines and have used certain brake fluids they can cause the inside of the line to swell up and clogg

Re: handbrake problem...

put your front brake master on there for a minute just to see if your problem is your hand brake master or not

DO WHAT?????

I think this is your prob....
My supplied banjo bolt with my full throttle adapter was too long and bottoming inside that master cylinder (not letting brake fluid by) so I had to take it back out and grind the end down to gain clearance between the banjo bolt and the master cyl. body.....thats another thing to check on.

Or you could give me a shout. As the banjo bolts should all be the same length and the adaptors are within less than .001" of each other I have to ask, did you have both of your crush washers on there?

Everythings good, both washers are on. I know some brake lines have different size fittings, maybe the lower profile is a cause. I have a steel braded dirtbike front brake hose for a rear handbrake.
