you just dont know do you? it's called DAMPENING... will relieve alot of the force of the fall... not cracking frames, or breaking mounts ect... NO OTHER cage offers that... id rather spend the $100 and save my bike from some beatings...

the mounting points of that cage i saw on the web site looked no diffrent than the sickinovations cage....all i am saying is the thin *** tubing used for those cages looked weak not sayin **** about the design or anything

eactly.. same mounts basically, but what you arent understanding is the SLIDER/PUCK is SPRING LOADED... it absorbs the fall... like having a POGO STICK for a slider if you can understand it that way.... i acually thought of a way i can make my FI cage do the same thing basically.... think im going to try it:YEAH

word...i just read that on tha web site about the spring loaded slider...i bet that would make a huge diffrence, i remember hearing about tha spring loaded slider a year or so back but didn't know anyone ever acctually made one....wonder if i can do something like that on my SI cage before i go spendin tha $$$ on the SI sliders

made some longer sliders so i could get started allready... just gotta router a grove for the slider to slide down when bolted on (will bolt on just like normal) and gotta hunt up a HEAVY *** SPRING

see the hole where the slider mounts? routher than down as much as you can, install a spring behind it, and your good to go (hopefully lol)
