f4i boggin like crazy! HELP!

f4i boggin like crazy! HELP!
ok so i just got the new motor in and going.... new plugs, fresh oil and oil filter, new k&n air filter
when i crank it up it has a weak idle, it boggs REALLY bad and when you blip the throttle it almost dies
.... but if you can get it to rev past 6-7k rpms it revs and sounds fine.... checked ALL hoses and whatnot.... any ideas?
no smoke.... it runs basically like a bike would if you just took off on a cold day w/o lettin it warm up.... only worse caus a cold motor will still rev.... i dont know what else to try, no FI light or anything, just runs like ***!

Stupid question but is the stock idle cable still intact and set to hold hte idle at 1krpm?
If not, then put it back on.. People say f4i's run like junk without the factory idle cable, even if yyou add a second idle cable.
Also when its cold, try starting it up and letting it warm up for like 20 seconds, then touch each header pipe to see if any are cold

took mine down the road a couple times.... and once wide open... and once i get into the high rpms it runs stronger.... but not much stronger.... slow back to a lower rpm... runs like ****.... no matter how ong i warm it up

OK i've figured out the problem.... you see there's girl named jamie that owns a honda dealership semi locally.... and apperently she doesn't know the difference between a F4 and an F4i.... for the second time she gave me the SHITTY old CR9EH-9 plugs instead of the iridium plugs needed on the f4i.... SOOO $55 later i got my parts runner on the way to the local honda shop to get me the RIGHT plugs
let me just tell you how much hell this woman has caused me in the past month.... 1: i needed a fuel cut relay for my f4i.... and i get 10% over cost w/ her but she's an hour away.... so i order the relay... it comes in.. aaaand it for a ****** F4!.... so i call and she saysss no thats the right one.... i make her fax me a copy of the fichefinder and it SAYS 99-00 F4.... so i circle it and send it back sayin WRONG!!!.... long story short she STILL hasnt gotten the hint

it sound like you have a week coil-pack. It runs like **** when there is low voltage going to one of the coils. (the wrong spark plug could make one or more go bad) Check that out. And try a stock air filter.

thats what i'm hopin... im gonna ride it this weekend and if it doesn't get better i got some spare coil packs
..... and a complete throttle body setup if that doesn't cure the problem:YEAH

i can see how she is getting things mixed up. in fishfinder they dont seperate te f4 and f4i which is gay. when u look at it its confusing as hell. but when u open it up u have a choice to pick what year for each part and she is prolly just screwing that up.

that low rev pause is from the K&N.let me guess.....K&N,aftermarket pipe...but no power commander? right? it's like changing the pipe and filter on a carbed bike but not jetting it.put your stock filter back in and the problem is solved
