Your lookin in the wrong places if you can't find a 636 for $5000. I wouldn't buy an R6 to stunt. You can have a sweet hooked up f4i or 636 stunter for $5000.

But It's all in what you want, you obviously dont see many R6 stunt bikes and that should say it all.

Re: r6 for stuntin?...

Honestly if your getting into stunting the best bike hands down is the F4i. Keep lookin you should easily be able to find a F4i under 5g's. And yes they do make cages, sprockets, bars, fairing stays, and so on for the R6

Re: r6 for stuntin?...

Twitchy but if your the sh*t u'll be fine. the sub-frames are fragile on them but that may all change with this new powers sub-frame cage. A r6 will make you a smooth detailed rider if done right but 5 G's to stunt? i'd prolly grab a 636 or f4i just for the extra strength of the overall bike if i was going to spend that kind of money. When i got mine i didn't plan on stunting it (how many times we heard dat 1).

you can get a fully setup f4i under 3k all day, ready to stunt

If you get a r6 change the clipons theyre a bit on the fragile side

Re: r6 for stuntin?...

I've seen more and more R6's in competitions (Bill Dixon the most well known). It seems to me that the variety of bikes being stunted has grown.

Whatever bike you get, get a cage, take off the plastic, and any other parts you don't need for the bike to run.

Re: r6 for stuntin?...

I learned on a R6 very snappy bike. But the first time I rode a f4i it felt like the bike did all the work it was cake. I just got a round bar and made my own sub frame braces last night so we will see how it holds up. I still love the R6 for endo's feels sweet with the R1 front end. Definitely buy something really cheap preferably F4i. I feel into a sweet deal couple weeks ago and picked one up for $1800 completely stunted out clean title too
