It will improve Ur throttle response, wich is helpful in any type of ridding, but the bike's not gonna run like crap with out one.

I've had two diff F I bike's with s/o's n they ran fine. Now I have a s/o with a pc and I am glad I have it... but U don't HAVE to put one on...

Re: True or False?

$$$ is the real factor in all of it. You pay $300 for the PC3 then you need to rent a dyno and find someone who knows what the hell theyr'e doin tune it for you. Sounds $$$$$$$$

Re: True or False?

no you only need a dyno if you by a exhaust that isn't maped already, or if you wanted to get as much as you could outta what you got but the premaped stuff is pretty good tho. my buddies got micron and there is already a map for micron pipe with k&n filter.

Re: True or False?

What about BMC filters is that one of the maps? If not you could prob. use the K&N one right?

Re: True or False?

OMG U guys dont listen! now he's gonna b confused again!

but since ya brought it up...
BMC are better then K&N!!! dont do K&N..(sorry ds)

I thought U get a map according to what pipe ya buy, I could be wrong!
but no one ever mentioned anything to me about a filter factoring, into the mapping

It's alot of money to do it rite, wich is Y I said a long time ago, he dosn't need to worry about it...unless he wants too?

the PCusb allows you to adjust your ignition curve as well as you fuel curve, i think that's more track oriented.....
