yeah guru the step plate is your best way to go. big kris can have them made easily if you need one pm me. the all aluminum tale is something my buddy made me as a favor cause of the same problem you have. its hand formed and polished. the l.a. guyz r just hatin!!! but if you need a step plate hit me up

 

i make all fiberglass tails. they look just like a stock tail without a seat, like a race tail. all the mounts are very thick and the part you stand on for seat standers is about 1/2 inch thick and the mounts for the rear bolts are about 3/4 inch thick. incredibly strong you can jump on it and it wont budge !
