i found the hai adapter for the rear master..but it looks like the one with the screw to hold it down...do i have to use a different rear master? cuz the stock one doesn't have the screw hole...and if so, which master will bolt up?? this is an 04 r6

if your master doesnt have the screw holding in the resivoir then that is the wrong adapter that you are looking at

Re: r6 handbrake??

well if its a gp tech i dont think they make one that fits. most bikes use the same style master other the the 636 and newer r6's. and not alot of people rock r6 like they do 636

roger's got a pretty solid answer going, that is not only his opinion and true, well that's all that matters, take the time to ask for the right part and you will get what you need, especially from HAI

Re: r6 handbrake??

yeah full throttle deffinately does not make the adapter for a 03-05 R6 rear master, Bill at full throttle told me to just replace the master with a 99-02 and then use his kit which is exactly what i did and works perfect, don't get the HAI adapter for the 03-05 R6 rear master even if they have it becuz that perticular master is a lot thinner than the 99-02 and more than likely you will break the master trying to get the adapter in, both are Brembo but 99-02 is much thicker material and you can tell by looking at it immediately, i took Bill's advise, you should do the same, just my
