Cage for 1996 Honda 600

I hate to ask... but a friend of mine was asking about a cage for a 1996 CBR 600... I told him he should just drop the bike, but he insisted on finding out the cost of one! Any clue?

Minus the carbs and the weight those are good stunt bikes. The frames are indistructable. Check Sick inovations, Powers, and 905. I'm going to get one for my bike I just havent decided which brand I'll go with.

Freestyle Ingenuity makes a sick cage for that thing. Its small and strong as ****. I hate cages that stick out like a damn jungle gym.

Re: Cage for 1996 Honda 600

My 905 cage has held up to almost 3 years worth of crashes on my f2. It hasn't failed me yet, but like ernie said it sticks out like a damn jungle gym. The center of both my shins have 1/8" deep dents in them from the cage before I wrapped that mount in foam. A buddy of mine has a FI cage that looks way better, hasnt wrecked yet but looks strong. I don't have any opinion on SI though...

anyways, f3's are decent stuntbikes, dont hate.

exactly buddy....F3's are the ****. Strong as a ***** and the frame is steel so it can pretty much be saved over and over again. The FI cage is sick. Its chrome-oly and you can barely even tell theres a cage on. Way better than riding with knee pads haha

fi cages are not very sturdy. i would go 905 or custom made.

Re: Cage for 1996 Honda 600

I guess I dont wreck as hard or something cause my FI holds up pretty good. Ill take a possible cracked stator over a jungle gym anyday.

that's most likely the case, besides, not many people go up a slope, get 2 wheels off an lands to a wheelie, but the f.i has less structual support then the 905 or others because its a long u shaped bar with 2 support bars to keep it from moving front to back but when u lowside there not much support to keep the primary bar from moving n cracking the covers which is y so many stator covers go bye bye. but like e-dub in this case and others, if your good, it's all u need and not too much to get around or get stuck on, like the 905, like im sure many of u are tired of banging your shins on it

Re: Cage for 1996 Honda 600

i dunno about the fi cage, but my bike has cartwheeled/rolled a few times lol. I think I just crash pretty hard though.

on this crash not 1 thing broke, just a scuff on the tank and the seat. kicked it over and kept riding.:YEAH
