Re: tank prob help..
If the tank is junk try the water trick and take some pictures!
I think everbody here has seen a post of somone talking about it, but I havent heard of anybody actually proving that it was done & works. Its been a while since I took physics, but on paper it could work lol. F4i tank is 4.8gallons, water expands when frozen +9% (found rate online @ 2 sources...so that should be pretty close) so to expand the tank back to the 4.8gal you would need 91% of water volume.
.91x4.8= 4.368 gallons of water frozen.
The reason most people think this is a bad idea is water + gas doesnt really go together. Im not sure if the tanks are stainless, or coated inside, but I doubt it so you would probly have some rust to deal with. I think it would be a cool thing to try & make a post of it. Maybe start with 4.25 Gallons of h20 (4 gal 8 cups) and see what happens.
do it.
p.s. dont listen to me. Although this is a better idea than dumping the gas out, leaving some fumes and tossing a match in it to pop the dents I dont know if it will work. I wont be held responsible for any split gas tanks or freezers that smell like 91 octane. Filling the tank w/inert gas and use of a stud gun to pull the dents out would prob. be the most professional way about it, But who wants that?

Re: tank prob help..
u can put the pump in, put a cap on it and put dry ice in the tank and seal it up good, it will push it back out from the pressure, just make sure that the ice is in a warm place to melt ......
