Re: stunt team or no team?

if you have good teamates its awesome. stunting has always been more of a social event for me.

goodteammates: guys that want to see you succeed, guys that take the time to watch you ride, critique your riding, compliment your progress. guys that take photos, will scrounge you parts, help fix your ****, spot you gas food or drink.
the ******* I ride with, we're family, we share each others bikes and parts girlfriends, its all good

shitty teammates:
bamas that dominate the spot, they have to be the superstar. people who are up their own *** and are too cool to have fun and act like a retard.

theres a couple of really upper level riders around here that noone wants to ride with for this reason

Re: stunt team or no team?

You'll feel much more encouraged to try new stuff with a team. You'll all have new tricks to share, and you'll all learn a lot faster.

But individual can be badass.

Nothin against RR, but you know I haven't been in RR for quite awhile now. Now you on the other hand, I mean RR is even in the name of the bike you ride

Re: stunt team or no team?

Teams = Bullshit!
You will loose friends, friends for years will get big egos and everyone will most likely just end up fighting. Keep it fun and ride for the reason you started.
pretty much in a nut shell ^

ive had a couple so called "teams" now

i spent 90% of the time teaching them how do tricks or stroking their egos and letting em know how godd they were doing .. and blah blah blah...

next thing u know that team that i was promoting the shi tout of jumps **** and decides to go to a seperate "team" becuase they thought we werent going to have anything else since our website name had been taken over by some computer geek.

so my "team" switched teams with even saying anything to the rest of the team first....

i could really care less.. cause the guys egos were way out of hand .. and alot of people didnt like them already .... but i just thought it was cowardly spinless **** to go and bail on the rest of the team after all the **** i taught them and all the sponsor **** we had going on.

i took a year off away from the drama .. mostly becuase of that **** ...

now im back and i worry about me and only me..

those guys arent out with me on MY bike and they arent goign to teach me **** i havent taught them already so **** em.

i will not ever work as a team again.

too much hassle,
too much drama,
too much to worry about,
tired of carrying everybody and them feeling like i was the one to handle all the important stuff. including maintence on their bikes !!!!!

*** ! that !
