Re: Good camera for videos?

not bad, but if you are serious about filming and want the real deal you need to get the vx2100

Re: Good camera for videos?

I've worked with the Sony PD150 and VX2100. They're ok cameras...

Guys, the JVC GY-HD110U is where its at. I've shot a few shorts with it and it just kicks the **** out of all the other cameras in terms of getting the film look...

Check it out here: http://pro.jvc.com/prof/attributes/f...&feature_id=01
_____

But I'm assuming this guy doesn't want to spend upward thousands just for a camcorder. That DCR-SR42 camcorder is fine. I have the SR32 and it generally shoots fine in most conditions except low-light. Who stunts at night anyways?

Re: Good camera for videos?

Get a used canon GL2 they are sick. My friend had one for a while until he got an XL2 which is a bit of an overkill in my opinion.

Re: Good camera for videos?

I was just looking at the wide angel lens, I think I'll pick that up on the way home. We got the 2 year protection plan that covers everything, so in a year and a half or so it will probably get dropped down some stairs.
