Axle Sliders Or Not?
I just put a Powers cage on my F4i. I layed it down to check clearance and see what touches and it looks like everything will be ok. I bought some axle sliders before I bought the cage and was wondering if I should go ahead and throw them on or not? I haven't seen too many people with them on their bikes and didn't know if they'd offer any more protection. Any info would be appreciated.

I noticed the front ones stop your rim from getting hit along the edge. Good for grabs and other tech **** you might think of. Mind you after any solid impact the front might shift, you might have to loosen your fromt end and retighten it to realign it. The rear slider under the exhaust hits sometimes.

the rear one's will help flip your bike up onto the bars/controls easier... that's if they dont bend or break off first.
I've tried them and i think they're an expensive waste of time.
If your worried about rearsets... cut a little bit off the end of your pegs.

No advertising... just tryin to help some stunters out.
You get paid to advertise... I'm not gettin paid ****... and I'm sure as hell not sponsored by them (maybe someday, BIG HINT IAN). They're cages just dominate... plain and simple.
If it makes you feel better... here's a pic of my swingarm... this one's on my nasty stunter that goes down at least 10 times a day (the other pic is of my new streeter that hasn't even been ridden yet).
Besides... you miss the point. I've tried them already. When you have the long axle sliders on, they make the bike want to go up onto the tank and controls easier... tell me you'd rather have to replace levers, bars, ect. than get a lousey scratch on your pretty swingarm.
It's a ****** stunt bike for christ's sake. And besides... after a couple of drops the stupid things just bend till they break off... chewing up the end of your axle in the process.
