SSB stuntbike project

It's cool that they are doing this as a feature, but they doing it all wrong. They are using an R6 with a 905 cage what a waste of time and money. You know that they didn't talk to anyone that stunts before they started this project. What the hell is wrong with the mags these days?

hahaha!!

actually ya he did talk to some stunters... more like.. every stunter.. haha

the reason it was an R sux is cause thats the bike he owned and raced for years, and has been sitting collecting dust in his garage for years.

and 905 is cause, thats his family.
..its a socal thing

either way Johns promised hes gonna bring that finished bike to vegas and is throwin spreaders within the week... maybe even a scrape.

i hope he does

Re: SSB stuntbike project

R6's are snappy, they're little but more importantly they are very cheap and available, I think you'll see alot more of them being stunted despite a fragile reputation. Remember, the stunt community is growing everyday but the number of F4i's on the planet can only get smaller.

This bike is being built by someone who has given 100% to the sport of stunt riding and will bring a great bike to the table when done!

Re: SSB stuntbike project

Yeah they have their downsides, as does ANY bike, but if it was such a horrible choice as a stunt bike, 1- you wouldn't have seen the people riding them that you did at Stuntwars, for example, and 2- it would not have made it into the article project. They aren't complete idiots, they do their research before investing in a project that an article is weighing on. It's in no way an un-stuntable bike.

if you really have dropped it hard...
try taking it off without cutting it

of course someone good enough could ride an r6 with a 905 as good as any other bike. but its just humorous to me imagining someone learning circles on an r6 with a 905
