SSB stuntbike project

Re: SSB stuntbike project
everyone dissing that R6 needs to do some research . my boy is rocking that same bike and it might not be as strong as a F4i, but i'd be willing to bet it's pretty close. when everyone talks about R6's being fragile, they are refering to 03+ models, which are fragile due to their cast 1 piece sub-frame (i say this from expierience having owned an '05).

Re: SSB stuntbike project
who gives a ****......the fact that they're even doing a stunt bike build up is sick. Think about it. Who cares what parts are on it or what bike it is. It gets the word out and fuels the fire of the stunt revolution. All we need to do is support it instead of bitching. After so much complaining I can see why these mags call us cry baby wheelie boyz.

Re: SSB stuntbike project
im sorry but i dont think any one can build a stunt bike quite like i can. well maby darius. stickystunts f4i was build by me. ya its street fighter but wait till you see my 636with full fairings.
his f4i has. custom mounted rc51 swing arm and rear wheel. a rc51 compleat front end, wave rotors around, two bros shorty, and a ohlins dampner. and the paint is the sickest part, hok tangerine orange gold and black. check it.

Re: SSB stuntbike project
the r6 isn't that bad of a bike to stunt there small like bill said but they are torquey as hell and easier to toss around. I would have kept mine but dropped it on its side and fucked up the pump didn't figure that out till i sold the motor and parted it out oh well!! Also edub has a point its a stuntbike build who cares what it is if it brings attention to the sport

Re: SSB stuntbike project
+1 nice to see them dedicating a piece of the mag to stunnin and if the R6 ends up being suck-tastic and the 905 cage crumples up like aluminum foil then the whole world will know. it will all come out in the wash. so quit bitchin and enjoy it.

Re: SSB stuntbike project
if you actually take the time to read the article and look at the bike you notice the bike is a '99 and the sub-frame is aluminum square stock just like the F4i. if these bikes weren't carbed i'd rock one.

Re: SSB stuntbike project
who many people honestly would have thought about a rc51 rear end ya maby people would have thought about the front end but not the rear. this is no downer to an out ther. you can tell when some ones bike was slaped together in a quick second (like my 636 at sw). not to many of us take the time to make our bikes uniq. i can see the way somthig will look when its in 100000 peaces on my gerage floor.

Re: SSB stuntbike project
the tails on the 99 are ok....not the strongest but can take a beating....but like any bike....they can only take slamming them on the tail for so long....i got a 00'...got circles too...only prob is the carb...shoot...is there a conversion kit?

I think the majority of us are looking for added function, not added "custom".
don't get me wrong...looks great, but what's the sense?
