i am sure you all know about the recall on the 2006 R6, well for those of you who dont, in affected bikes a screw comes lose on the airbox and could fall into the throttle control. causing the rider to possibly lose control of the bike. which is exactly what happend to me, i ad know idea what happend just that hittin a 25 mph corner at 116 mph isnt my usual riding. now yamaha has claimed responsiblility for the accident. but it was probably all those wheelies that losened te screw

nah the bones healed quite fast. i was in bed for about 2 weeks but on the good side my girl was there with me. damn you yamaha! get the new zx6 they are bad ***

that sucks, had a buddy with a 06 gixxer that the front wheel came apart, loved to wheelie, but somehow they found that the wheel casting sucked and they paided for him to get a new bike and his doctor bills, guess its luck of the draw, he didnt get that messed up, just some rash

 

damn yammie's... j/p, you know it was user error. no way in hell i will let a stuck throttle make me bap. thats what a clutch, and front and rear brakes are for. i woulda been doing a 2 wheeled rev limit coaster on that bitch!!!

i had been ignoring that notice for a while, and i went and got my forks checked, and some cams put in... so i decided to let them correct that as well.

but i highly doubt that, would affect how i feel about my bike....
