Thumb brake????

I am looking at getting a handbrake setup, and found someone that is getting rid of a thumbbrake setup that they have, it is a spiegler. Right now it is on a race bike. I'm wondering if anyone has ever used one of these, or if I should stick with the reg. handbrake.

Re: Thumb brake????

u can either have 30% braking power w a thumb brake... or 75% with a real hb.. and good luck holding on without your thumb.
