Do you reinforce your pegs/rear-sets?
Snapped a peg bolt yesterday. After assuring myself that there wasn't **** in my pants, I got to looking at it. The bolt sheared right where the threads start inside the aluminum bracket that the peg actually mounts to. That bolt is TINY! I can't believe they would use such a small piece of hardware to support a rider, but then again, it wasn't designed for a 230 pond man to jump around on. So, what do you do to make sure this doesn't happen to you? What is the strongest peg/rear-set combination? I plan on using hardened hardware when I reassemble, but what else would you do?
Good news is........I didn't go down!:YEAH
