Glad someone else sees this.

Everyone is pissed that SSB is featuring custom bikes on the cover instead of wheelies. Everything comes down to $.

Stunters don't wanna spend $. Squids do.

Re: Alpinestars vs. Icon

When a company advertises at sporting events they're not trying to get the ball players (Puck players for hockey) to purchase there products. They want us the average joe/jose/jamiel to buy the product.

True, but most stuff they would be advertising at a stunt comp the average joe would have NO use for what so ever

I've meet guys that have a full leather suite, $500 racing SIDI boots, the latest and greatest helmet, gloves ext. The bike could hold its own in an AMA race but they only ride the 20 miles to a local bike night once a week...

what a jacket, helmet, gloves, and pants?
majority of stunt event spectators are still riders. riders do buy stuff, for themselves, and their bikes.

Sportbiking is a social brotherhood.
its keepin up with the jones' many people dont realize it but ive seen many jackets of all brands, bikes, and other parts on high profile stunters/racers that arnt even out yet.

IE:
Jason britton rocks ICON jackets that you can buy for almost a year
Pfieffer has had a stunt bike for OVER a year thats not even available for another 4 months
Every peice of my latest Joe rocket outfit wont be available on shelves until late summer, early fall

seeing a pattern!?

CCS privateer club racers spend more money on tires in one weekend than most stunters do on their bikes all year

Re: Alpinestars vs. Icon

Alpinestars= best protection, fit, best riders in the world wear it, moto x, motard, formula 1, karting. moto gp, wsb, ama, stuntriding.

Joe Rocket = Generic style, dont fit, looks like crap, kane wears it, only company to make a pink guys jacket.

Icon= looks cool but falls apart, glamma style, no racers wear it.

I just dont think the average spectator is a stuntrider. They may ride but not stunt

What kind of bike does CP have thats not out yet?

and of course sponsored riders are going to have stuff before anyone else. Thats just the way it works. I dont get your point in pointing that one out.
