Re: Parts to a handbrake....

a master cylinder, that can be flipped over...
a steel braided line
and either a. gp tech fitting that goes into the stock rear master, or b. a dual caliper setup.

that is all

I think what the newb is trying to say is can he use either a front or rear CALIPER?!?!

If that is what you are asking then you can only use another rear caliper if you go with a dual caliper setup. Otherwise, contact Full Throttle Inc and get yourself the goodies for a hand brake setup.

Re: Parts to a handbrake....

dont forget the brake rectifieer if your doing a single caliper set-up, or a split-valve for the dual caliper set-up.

Re: Parts to a handbrake....

get a full throttle Lower Master, and a brembo, or radial master off a 05 gsxr upper master. Some steel braided line from the top master to the bottom, then from the lower master to the caliper, couple of banjo bolts and your all set, except for the hour of bleeding, and cleanin y0ur **** off after your done spillin brake fluid all over it.

Correction on #2:
Save yourself some headaches and get a 54" line... better to have a little slack than none at all.

That really was a "Non" Crotch like response... I was rather impressed at how you refrained. I'm sure you were chomping at the bit, but that took major self control. Consider yourself lucky BrandNEW
