i say you should slap a cage on it, and then just put some sprockets on.... i know when i got my 06 r6, i couldnt wait to get some gearing on it... and the old sprockets fit. i dont see you having a problem getting a set of sprockets on, handbrake, and dented tank on the first day!!!!!

i say do it! oh and hit up your sponsor to get that cage fabbed on the other bike you have.... so you can be the **** asap.

p.s. how many bikes did you get in the deal??? i would leave on at the R&D location, so i could have some trick **** fabbed up, and i would rock the other one.
