im new in the sport and use my 03 gixxer 6.. i was thinking of picking up a 94 cbr 900, cause of the damage im doing to my gixxer. anyone got some comments about their old 900 and how they liked it? thanks

93-95 had the 889 motors that will smoke cylinder #3 during long wheelies.

96-99 used the 919 motors that were alot better, 98-99 they made more power. a 94 is an ugly dinosaur with bogus dual headlights.

im on my third 900, first was a 95 that i had a very hard time learning on, second was a 99 and now im on a 98. all of them were tanks but the most recent 2 really are quite a bit faster and alot more fun for highway stuff. i guess if you can grab a rideable one for under 1500 id go for it otherwise the F4i and 929 are really great stunt bikes and im looking at one of them for my next bike.

ive got one now... its a pig but i like it... their cheap and parts are cheap too... theirs lots around to grab **** off of...i havent killed my engine yet, just overfill the oil a bit and youll be fine
