Re: Those 636 Fairing Stays
High if your comparing it to others on the market yes.....Keep in mind Steel is much cheaper then 6061 aluminum, TIG weldin aluminum is much more expensive then MIGing mild steel, and I have my parts cut out on a CNC waterjet machine which also isnt cheap.....So to give you an idea these stays have over $150 in material, machining, and welding costs, And I still have to deburr, bend, notch, and preassemble all the parts ....If I did the math Im probabaly makin about $1 an hour making these stays...Im doin it in my spare time and I havent made 1 cent profit yet......If I made them out of steel like others are and had them MIG welded I could prob make sell them for about $150 so whos really expensive ones
Bottom line ask anyone whos bought one if they feel it was worth the money

I've got one -- I haven't crash tested mine yet, but it looks top notch quality. Well worth the money. PLUS, I can use my headlight with the broken mounts now, so it's saving me the money of having to buy another light. If you're wanting to rock full fairing, you need this stay!
I'm wanting one for my '05 636 as soon as they're done!

Re: Those 636 Fairing Stays
I gotta give to him, dude is on point with these fairing stays, people on here complain about cost, but them same ones where complaining about how weak the 636 upper is and what not. I'm not worried about how much its cost him in material, dude shouldn't even have to explain that. that his bussiness. his product sells its self the first time you flip a endo. first time I flipped a endo with a 905 racing stay I broke the aluminum bracket that held my speedo in place, broke my upper in pieces. so do the math= 636 upper $250 that from ebay, 905 racing stay wasted 200 dollars. aluminum bracket 50- 75 range ebay. Johnny P stay 250 and some progessive crashes on the way priceless.

Re: Those 636 Fairing Stays
I sell used sportbikes and sell spares on eBay from time to time or partout bikes too wrecked to fix and resell. I charge $100-$200 for stock stays depending on the bike and new msrp of the part.
$250 for something that appears to be made with quality materials, machining, welding process, and fabrication skill really isn't much.

Re: Those 636 Fairing Stays
Johnny's stay are the shizzle!!! and no 250 isn't high.. Mang look at the quality and then look at 905's crap and there price.. Don't get me wrong I still like 905 just think johnny's is better and at a resonable price for quality. 905's should be about $150.00
and then $250.00 for the good aluminum ones!!!
and then $250.00 for the good aluminum ones!!!
