F4i or 929?

I am looking at a few new bikes but I can't make up my mind. I have a cbr F2 now that I don't really like. It doesent have enough power. This is the only 600 I have rode. I want a faster bike but I want something still stuntable for the lots as well as some highway stuff too. Can someone that has ridden an F2 and a f4i can tell me how big of a difference in power there is between them? I have seen a couple people rock circles & slow wheelies on a 929 but I don't know how hard they are on that compared to a F4i. If there is not a big difference between the 600's than I'll get the 929 but I won't get it if I'll be happy with a 600. Could someone help me out please? And if you don't like my post just move on to the next & please don't even post.

Re: F4i or 929?

well the f4i has a built in radio tuner and the 929 has i-Vtec

so iono its pretty tough.

dude just go out and actually ride some different bikes if youre not happy with the f2. didnt you start another thred about whats a better 1000

Re: F4i or 929?

yeah I wanted to know what was a better 1000 but I'm not really sure now if I need a 1000. I might just stick with a quicker 600 now but I'm still not sure if there is a big difference between my F2 & the F4i.

Re: F4i or 929?

Ride your bike to a dealer that is selling a used f4i .

Tell them you might want to buy their f4i . They might let you test ride it .

You don't need anymore power than an f2 to stunt . Although an f4i will be a bit better cause of the fuel injection .
(less stalling problems at 12 position)

What year F2 and colors (just wondering , i had a red and white '92 )

Re: F4i or 929?

i rode an 929 for 2 years. i had a stunt and a street one. they are awsome. i loved that bike. slow stuff is a little harder on them because the idle is a little funky. I would say for learned and coming up the f4i is better than the 929. it's easier to manuver and less torquey so throttle control is easier on it. both are great bikes.

I used my 91 f2 for about 6 months after i got rid of my 929s....they don't have that much power, which is true, but they are heavy. that is what you are feeling. i stunted fine on it, but it was a dog for highway stuff. My f4i with a 60 tooth rear sprocket rocks the highway just fine.

Re: F4i or 929?

an f4i has a world of difference between your f2. its way lighter and makes more power and its fuel injected not carb. just go with the f4i there solid bikes for stuntin. highway whoolies are fine. i do them in 3rd -1 +10.

i do too nags but you can't deny that the idle is funky and f4i's are just SO easy to learn on.

on that note, i miss my 929 rev limiter so bad...it was fast and crisp. my f4i seems like it takes 5 seconds to rev up to the limiter and it doesn't sound as nice.

Re: F4i or 929?

f4i is alot easier to stunt than the 929, although if you plan on rocking the skreets more than the lots go with the deuce, still my favoraite bike out there..... all around..

I never had any problem with my 929 idle

I can rock 3rd gear freeway wheelies on my 2000 f4 (no I ) really easy!! I do have to bounce the front pretty good with a full tank of precious juice though!! I also have a 1 down in the front !! I really enjoy my HONDA!! Go with the 600 is my opinion!! peace
