2005 2006 Kawasaki 636 Hyperpro Damper PICS

Just got my Hyperpro Damper for my 2005 636. I had it on 2 weeks and the lower bracket on the frame snapped. All I did was move the bike around in the garage turned the front wheel and it snapped. Hyperpro is replacing the part but not sure if this is a fix. If any of you guys are running the hyperpro on your 636 please look at it. The bracket flexs up and down when the setting is in the middle or high. Luckly mine broke just moving the bars rather than be in a endo and it tank slap and brake the bracket and crash. Look at the pics.

been there done that!! lol
they used to be based in las vegas, were prolly one of my first sponsors ever, them and dynojet.

then micron bought them

decent damper, but i always had a problem with them blowing up on me, and after making the switch to a GPR which is a lot smaller and condensed ill never go back the hyperpro rigging is a pain in the *** to remove just to take of the tank.. plus the top mount always got in my way for switchbacks. ever hook a beltloop on your damper while riding backwards at 80 on the freeway...

screw that!!

I will say though that when dynojet still owned them, they were really good at replacing anything that broke.. I dunno if they still are but i would call, i bet they would replace that part that broke

GPR or bust!

that's top secret info! haha, j/k. just your four basic food groups. Curtis got the hand me downs because it was weather beaten from sitting in the back of my truck in the rain for a week! Kane would love my finger-paint job on the 636.

i tapped a hole on each side of the mount and bolted it down to the frame. it stops it from wobbleing and gives better feal on the frontend. if its wobbleing the brackek starts to crack when put under stress than it just gives.

Re: 2005 2006 Kawasaki 636 Hyperpro Damper PICS

rod types are better in everyway but i think rockin them on your stunt bike is risky. the top mount stabilizers are more solid if you tend to drop your bike alot, but most of the gpr's are junk
