Clutch lever

I need help. I was bending my clutch lever back (yes before you start I know that was stupid) and it obviously broke. My question is, can I use a lever from another bike and drill out the hole where the pin/screw goes through? Do I have to use that spacer or race whatever that is in there or can I just drill a hole big enough?

Its december 14 and 60degrees today, 54 tomorrow here in pgh, I dont have time to order another one. Any help???

thanks

Re: Clutch lever

You assshole, why cant you be happy with anything. why you gotta **** your lever up. I thought you used to be a mechanic, at least put a little heat on it, scheeeze. How you gonna fix people if you cant even get a brake lever to work. Pgh pollack. Go get a perch and lever off anything, your beater hurricane will work fine, anything dont waste your last two days over stupidity. Call yeags or ninja ryan, jbweld it anything.

Wow, hater!!! LOL!!!

I was at my shop until 2:30 fabin a new lever out of one I had layin around. I also cut a slot and drilled out a new hole...made my own easy pull!! (this will probably break too )

Anyway, the weather is stayin nice all weekend and I am riding!!!

Thanks for the help, the hate and the extra push to get this **** done!!! Now If I can just get someone to ride with...anyone in pgh???
