Re: First Circles!!!
they been kicking my as s.... i do ss to the right (most i got was 1 1/2) and *** drags to the left lol. i let idle catch and start to carry me, then dip into the O, and let idle carry me a lil, but i have to use some throttle..... i only run my idle around 2500 for SS, and 3G for sitdown *** drags (sound right, or do i need more idle to learn?)

Re: First Circles!!!
I would rather lowside any day of the week. Ive had some pretty painfull highsides and dont wish them on an enemy. Lowsiding if you have a cage is generally painless in my opinion, and ive been workin on O for a year so ive had plenty of wrecks. you have very little time or chance of savin a highside with any dignity and if you lowside you can just let go worst case senario its hard to get out of the way of highside

Re: First Circles!!!
i think im just doin them at idle right now and to the left. stagard stance. but i def. need to work on gettin my clutch easier to pull cuz its hard as fu(k to. and then i wanna start featherin the clutch in there too.

Re: First Circles!!!
When i use to do them on idle alone i wouldn't get more than about 2 or 3. Since i finally started letting the bike fall in a little more before i bump the gas i get them alot more consistant. Now i can pull off about 10 on a good day.
I learned that if you let the bike lean a little more and keep your body more on top or upright, it's alot easier to catch idle and just use the brake. If you lean in to the circle you're less likely to highside but you can't stay on idle and you'll wear yourself out tryin to keep it up. I can get about 7 wide and fast but my arms get so pumped it's hard to hold on past that.
I'll go in just a little behind BP staggered and then let my right knee bend and most of my weight goes on the left rear peg. the bike falls in really easy this way. I am completely of the brake while it's falling in. I ride around 1/2 turn then i'll bump the gas a little and get it back on idle and ride the brake slightly.
I get about 2 in on idle then nudge the gas for 1 then idle the next 2 then so on.
This has worked the best or me
