Should i streetfighter my gsxr??
i'm stunting a ff 2001 600cc gsxr. i'm gettin circles now, no-handers and workin on seat stander circles.
but everyone i ride with are all streetfightered and i thinking it's alot better for working on combo's and less weight to mess about with on learning circles.
i'm tryin to learn clutch and bar break together but find it hard cuz of how the clip on's sit to fit in with the top fairing.
I have spear top yoke and can pick up sf bar's very cheap so i can change back very easy. i hate the look of sf bike's and wont a ff bike but i just feel i'm so restricted with clip on's and fairing.
what do people think??
this is my bike at the min

i've turned my clip on's out as much as i can, but my hand hits the upper
if i go to sf bar's i'll keep the side fairings on and just take the upper off.
like i said, i can easy go back to clip on's if i dont like it, its just a few hours work right

i was facing the same struggle when i went streetfightered, i'm not tucking through yet, but i think it will be great for when i do.
and being able to turn your clipons out or get db bars makes for a much better grip and riding position.
yeah it looks ugly and yeah its a streetbike not a dirtbike, and i hated to ditch the fairings, but now i love it. you'll just have to weigh out the pros and cons to make a good decision.

I just put my fairings back on my f4i. I still have my clip ons turned out, but had to trim the upper a little bit. I also am gonna leave the windscreen off.
I guess im backwards.
I think it feels the same as before, except for the visuals when in a wheelie. Now im staring at the upper, which takes some getting used to.
