On the day of qualifying, and just hanging out in the riders area yeah it was blue jeans and hoodys. It was raining and 45 degrees out the whole weekend. What were the riding conditions for west coast? Scorching hot, 90+ degrees out, right?
And in no way can you compare a stunt bike to a custom bike. The owners of "custom bikes" trailer them around racing, and or showing them. Not stunting and dropping their **** constantly.

my point is this..
F4Is are old... they are not even sportbikes anymore. they have banana seats. they are great at circles big deal, i think its time we all stepped up and got bikes that the factories actually want to sell.
i understand that we all cant afford to just go buy brand spankin new bikes. (hence the reason i ride my clapped out 03 everyway) but we all can do a lot to clean up the overall look of our bikes...
streetfighters dont all have to look bad, but just taking the fairrings off does look bad. really bad.
Tony D's old 900rr was a damn good looking streetfighter.
Darius' F4easy is a damn good looking streetfighter (although his exhaust can is crap)
but my point isnt just streetfighters/fairrings. its really basic.
Go buy the newest SSB mag. and open the pages and look at it from 3-4ft back.
its obvious in comparison. stunting is an eyesore..
we need to shape up

But as far as ssb goes, they are just being hippocrates then. They used the sport to grow, (remember the first issues...they were like 20 pages and i bought everyone) and now want to put criteria on stunting to publicize what we are doing. Not cool! If they truly are a stunt riding mag, then they will have to publicize everything, not just the blingy bikes.
To those of you that have stepped it up with your bikes looks, +1, you will probably be the ones in the ssb.
Perhaps a magazine based soley on stuntriding will replace them?? Then where will they be?? I know there is a nice publication for just streetfighers.

east coast.. your killing us.
the new XDL article is horrible. its an eyesore in a magazine filled with 100,000 dollar custom bikes, and equally priced professional looking drag bikes/riders, pulling large numbers with large support behind them.
then the XDL comp article... nothing but clapped out, unwashed broken down 5 year old F4Is and hoodies.. its hideous..
if I were SSB...
Id stop covering stunting too...
we already lost our covers.. we are gonna lose our coverage too unless we smarten up.
SSB is in the business to sell magazines.. clapped out garbage streetfightered bikes with rusty fairings, and visor-less, hoody/blue jean wearing poorboy lookin stunters... will not sell mags compared to twin turbo having busas, or clear wheeled gxrs.. hell.. a hot broad is 10x more appealing on the cover than a clapped out honda...
its the next evolution... and i dont think i can blame the change at all..

you are pathetic, you went on national television and nearly crashed trying to do ss circles, looking like a *** out there ...
I seen the clip of your xdl run and it sucked! you must have sucked the right **** to win that one.
you claim to be one of the best yet you can't even turn an endo, you always wanna come talking some $hit, go crawl back under the rock with Pauly, thats exactly where you belong.

Kane is correct, although FF is not 100% needed, F4i's are ugly as hell, and this post is for people that want SSB to cover riders and those who could care less will just think its stupid. Good points everyone.

Re: SSB doesnt like stunts!?
this is actually a good topic... because think about it, why not just have a minty set of farings from ebay sitting to the side that you only use in comps. have em done up, sponsor stickers etc. but they are there for shows, and ****. use some cracked tab, broken mount holed fairings ziptied to your **** daily, and break out the fresh **** when you need to.
remember the saying, "wear clean draws everyday, just incase something happens to you... the emt's wont be laughing while helping you"...
same should go with your outfits....
****, i know you can go to the skater stores, and grab some gear for cheap.... LRG hoodies, and jackets for 80 bucks.... the tshirts for 24 dollars.
famous sas hoodies, and t-shirts... hoodies, 54 bucks, and t's 20 bucks...
it doesnt take much to come out lookin clean for a day.... especially when all eyes will be on you for a portion of time.
wash the bike and slap on them fairings for 1 day... then go back clapped out if thats how you feel.

Re: SSB doesnt like stunts!?
I like full fairing bikes a lot better just every time u hit the ground it's a lot more $$$ to get it fixxed and a lot harder to keep it looking clean.to be realistic,if u do drop your bike,u need new fairings and paint every month.
