round bar, 636?

round bar, 636?
I went through previous threads, and noticed that apparently the MXD round bars actually are hidden underneath your tail and don't show untill you scrape through the plastic? I'm looking for one of those, or another round bar that fits flush with the tail on an 03 636. I looked at the sick innovations one but it sits out past the end of the tail, and also goes right through the tail light... 905 didn't have a picture of it mounted on the bike, does anyone have one?

Re: MXD round bar, 636
really? I knew there were talks of making them, would be nice to see.. maybe the man himself will pipe up?
in the mean time.. anyone rockin a 905 round bar? I'm just looking for anything clean.. I honestly wouldn't mind a flat bar but every bar i've seen for a 636 is hangin off the back.. nothing close to the tail at all?

hey i got a SI round bar, and yes it comes right where the back light is so u might need to place some leds or smth to have a lite..other than that its super clean u put it nice and well tilted to upwards and it looks very discreet

Ya, I've got my tail right here with me and after looking at it I agree, there isn't enough room to run a bar with the stock tail light, np runnin led's, I have some wiring to do back there anywho right now.
fonz you have any pics? I looked at the ones of it mounted on a 636 from their website and unfortunately it sticks out a couple inches past the tip of the tail. Is yours the same way? or shorter?

Re: round bar, 636?
good stuff roger, nice to see people making their own stuff that actually works! I'm thinking I'm just gonna have a round bar welded up that is in the tail light but still, underneath the tip of the tail, being that i'd have to scrape off about 1/2 an inch for it to touch the bar. Thanks for the input.

hah, I figured as much.. roger how did you mount your roundbar to the subframe? I'm assuming you used a flat bar against it and then just drilled holes through?
