Re: powers cage

I think the engine mounts might be different. your talking two different years, about every year they do something a little different. Im sure theres a chance you could get it together, but I dont know how sturdy it would be. you could always call or e-mail the guys and ask them straight up. www.powersbikeworx.com

Re: powers cage

600 750 1000 all diffrent frames look the same but front motor mounts are off by about 1/4 inch because of the casting of the cyclinders and the diffrent length in stroke of the pistons. for future refrence just cause they look the same dont mean they are the same.

Re: powers cage

Oh I have an Idea for that cage..... THROW IT IN THE TRASH.....lol that cage for that year bike is BAD news. Do you have the first one where the lower mount is way to close to the case or the newer one where the reinforcement bar in welded even closer then the old style. Either way you are gonna have some broken covers on your hands so be ready. I have a friend who went threw 4 of these on that year/style gsxr so good luck

Re: powers cage

Hmmm i think it should fit as well cuz I had 03 or 04 motor into 00 750 frame....so it shouldnt be a problem.
