03-04 636 vs zx6R

Other than the cc's what are the differences? Does the Zx6R pull on idle as good as the 636? Ive heard that the clutches are different, but other than that, I dont know any differences. ??

I think you're talking about ZX6RR (599 cc) and ZX6R (636 cc). The ZX6RR has an adjustable swingarm pivot, slipper clutch, and slightly different fuel injection system (I think).

Yep... Thnaks. Ive rode an 04 636 and im basicly wondering if there is going to be a difference in how they pull. I like how the 636 has alot of low end .

Re: 03-04 636 vs zx6R

i have owned and rode both. I couldnt tell much of a difference between the 2.

The swingarm axel mounting style was a little differnt

The zx6r has a nut welded to the left side of frame for a race sterring dampner I think.

The swingarm axel mounts are a bit different.

Other thant that I had no problems with the clutch or idle not sticking.

these bikes are sweet you can do no handers and circles with stock sprockets
for days

I have a 636 and my very good friend has the ZX6RR, and we both have the same gearing 56t rear. They do feel different, you can tell right away the 636 has alot more power....The 600 carries idle fine but not as strong as the 636, all in all you just have to get used to the 600.....Same bike just feels a little weaker..
