In other words, nobody practices a team run all year, put the money into the events people practice for. Endo and Individual, the rest is just a sideshow.

Tandem is sooooooo gay, i dont understand why they keep having this event either. now that i think about it , there arent really anymore teams either, this event is still run like its first year,,,
You need to dump the lame *** categories and take care of the ones that draw all the riders or have the most risk, i dont understand how longest endo is never the highest paying event or at least tied with freestyle

Re: STUNTWARS Payouts changes???????
My 2 cents on Stuntwars-
1) Have 4 regional qualifiers- Florida, California, Boston (Area), & Texas.
Anyone can try to qualify for the Stuntwars Final Event. Everyone has to pay to enter an event (Just like Supercross riders have to). The top 5 riders
from each qualifier get to advance to the Stuntwars Finals. So only the best riders go to the Finals instead of the "biggest" names.
2) The StuntWars Finals needs to be held in a central location, but in an area that can attract a large fan base, too. I would suggest somewhere either in Texas, Kansas City, etc.
3) The riders that qualify for the Final event do not have to pay an entry fee for their events & DO NOT HAVE TO PAY ADMISSION TO GET INTO THE EVENT EVERYDAY. All of the entry fees from the qualifiers get added up w/ the half of the spectator admission fees from all the qualifiers & get put to the total rider pay outs.
4) Keep the qualifing events simple & have only 4 seperate events. Longest endo, Best combo wheelie run, most circles in a minute, & best individual routine (Just examples). Then also have a combined championship, which would include all four seperate events, that by points totals would crown the All-Around best individual stunt rider in the World. So you could try & qualifiy for the Stuntwars Finals in any seperate event or you could compete in every event to win the All-Around Championship.
5) Prizes- There should be no problem getting free bikes from some sponsors. I'm sure the OEM's would step up to the plate for this or some large corporate sponsor. The winners of every contest should win a free bike & cash. You could get the prize "cash" from other sponsors, by either them giving you the cash or you selling raffle tickets to the public & giving away the free merchandise. Believe me there is a large amount of money out there from sponsors to be able to give away 5 new bikes & $30,000 plus in prize money. Yet, there would still be enough revenue from the advertising, concessions, booth rentals, & half the public admission to have a top notch promotor handle the whole event.
Just my two cents, all of my ideas are up for change. The way that you are going to get big money is to be able to have as many people attend as possible. This would give the event enough exposure to be able to capitalize on four different parts of the country & to be able to effectively market this sport and event to larger corporate sponsors (Who can bring more money). In closing, the more spectators.............More Money......for everyone....Riders & Promotors.
Feel free to comment or add some ideas. This was just a start to it. Or feel free to hate because I know it will happen.

That way there's just one new event to organize, instead of a bunch of them. (existing events = stuntwars, xdl, stuntfest etc)

Should we get rid of the Team Event? That would give us $5,000 to add to the Individual Freestyle, or Individual events

I can say he is working on this and listen to everyone’s changes, I talked to him for some time to day about the money we put up to help and he let me know where every dime was going and I really appreciated that and I think it shows they want to give more to the riders.
We can't expect them to pay out more than they have for sure, ie sponsors venders, expected rider turn out and expected spectators, last two should be rounded low of course. To make sure they can make the payouts. Then they have there costs for track etc. I think in they have made changes and I saw some of this at stuntober fest but I think they can still make it better and agree with a lot of posts here and hope they do make some changes with out dropping events but maybe even adding another event to the mix.
Stunt wars has grown and seems to be going the right way, sure it has it's issues but trust me I have seen shows with worse issues but I will not say any names here. Over all from a sponsor, vender side of things I kind of see hear both sides and respect both sides. I do think more should be done for riders like food, drinks ect but with 100+ riders that’s hard, higher payouts is hard, I mean come on how else did todd get that hummer he is not stupid.
My 3 cents, I think SW is going the right way and would like to see it grow or even go more places like someone else said. But I think finals should be in FL, since it is the home of SW and about 30% of the top riders are some where on the lower east side of the us. I am sure something we be said about that last line. lol
Good bye...

Agreed, Tandem is ghey and shouldn't deserve any payout. Get a guy with good throttle control or a hb and a chick thats semi athletic and your golden. If you wanna get paid for tandem do it in team event.
Anywho, don't get me wrong. I'm not knocking any of you guys that rock the high speed, long *** stoppies. You guys are sick and got mad respect from me. Lord knows my stoppies are fricken garbage and I'm not even in the same universe as you guys. I just think that individual freestyle shows what the sport is about, shows the overall talent of the rider, and should deserve more payout. Incorporate long stoppies into your freestyle run and you'll get scored high. Not knockin stoppies, but if the competition side of the sport goes anywhere, it'll be because of the individual freestyle. I think that should be recognized.
