I went to home depo and bought a small piece of thin plate aluminum and used hose clamps to attach it to tha trees and mounted gauges to it ...sick look and legal.. its this years new pink!

I still use them. I ride on the street so it's all gotta be legal. Just use 2 strips of aluminum to make a bracket and bolt it under your triple somehow

here are the gauges on my 636 i had to do some fairing mods to put them where i wanted . im sure you could dot the same to an f4i. the fuel light and temp is a must have for me i dont want to stall and go over the bars because of fuel .

Temp, rpm, gas light, etc... all things i like to know while riding.
I mounted mine inside the right fairing by the radiator cap looking up at me, i can read them fine while riding
