i dont know how practical it is though. i can tell you though, if something like this took place id drive to texas to get there, sounds awesome. i dont even bother with the 4 hours to lakeland though

Sounds like a good plan.
I hear everyone about meeting in the middle but the location will have to all dictate around what time of year this thing will happen. Also, people have to be able to pay for the trip and everyone likes to use their tax refunds to splurge.
If you do it after the tax refunds, I believe the most amount of people will come. Also, if you do it when its in the colder part of the season, more people would be willing to come out if the event is held in a warmer place (i.e. Northerners coming to Florida for stunt wars). There are alot of events around the country during the warmer months, so I think that people would be wanting to go to those events since they are already known.
It would be nice to have a list of events to attend year round. Most events are held during the warmer months, so if we had events taking place all year long that would make it worthwhile.
Usually people (riders and fans) like to go to events where known riders will be. Stunt Wars = everyone, Starboyz Stunt Fest = Starboyz and lot of other people, Stuntoberfest = mini Stunt Wars, ect.
So, I think this thing could be really big and known, but only if you have:
1.) Location: warm weather, flat, open areas, travel distance for everyone.
2.) Great riding areas
3.) Known riders attending
4.) Time of year: financially stable for people and itchingness to ride(colder months for northern people who havent rode in 3 months).
5.) Promotion: can not be promoted by people who are known for onlying wanting to make money for themselves. Needs promoter who is wanting to make some progess in the sport for events, promotion, fun, and riders.
6.) Organization: I know its a free ride with little comps, but stuff can get out of hand and bad things happen when there is little or no direction.
Kansas would be good for summer.

Hey man whats up? obviouly I think a central comp would be ****ing awsome, so I'll help any way i can on it. We do shows at a drag stip located just south of Omaha Nebraska on I-29. The guy that runs the track is a ****ing nut, and loves bikes. I'm sure he would be willing to help put this togeather. I have his cell phone number if you want to try and give him a call, or I can work at setting something up and putting you 2 in touch. Let me know how interested you are.

yup! I'm thinking if we could really get all the stunters in one area it would really show the strength of the sport.
