Re: Are You In Or Not??

ive flipped em on the fiddy, quads, dirtbikes, and the double RR. if you roll them all the time you are bound to flip eventually. its a good thing though, after you flip one you probbably wont flip on that machine again. best thing to do is once you feel it going over, leap the bars like superman and get as far out in front of the bike as you can. that has kept me from getting f'ed up everytime.

Re: Are You In Or Not??

yellowgix could have been worse. the first stoppie i flipped was on the street, doin about 15 in sherwood. pulled it off almost smooth but i ended up grabbing too much brake and plain looped it. bike ended up under a suburban and almost got hit by oncoming traffic. then i topped it off by having to push it with a gimp left knee almost a mile back to the house. **** was off the chain!!

IN - Flipped one in 03 shortly having an abdominal surgery. My Doc (from the surgery, went to see him to make sure I didn't screw up the work he did) wasn't verry happy with me.

I don't roll long stoppies, I was going up into one around 70 mph and wasn't aggressive enough with the brake initially, gave it a *little* pump and next thing I know I'm jumping the bars. Luckily my bike didn't get much damage because it came down square on me driving me into the pavement.

Re: Are You In Or Not??

yeah I flipped a stoppie a little over a month ago... had just gone once down the parking lot and came back up.. and did a stoppie.. and froze at balance point for a second.. then felt it going over.. so I kicked myself off the bike.. landed on my hip... and couldn't walk straight for a week.. but I'm all good now...

my gixxer got pretty messed up though.. snapped the subframe clean cut in half.. and smushed the upper pretty good

UPDATE:
I am in as of about 3 hours ago. Flipped one out at the spot tonight with just about everyone there watching. I faired pretty good. No broken bones just rash to both knees, left hip, right arm,and right shoulder. Glad I had my spine protector on, Unfortunatly I left my shin gaurds in the truck The bike didn't fair as good, looks just like RRC's
