+1 Same happened to me... thought I was in second starting at a light (with a cop on my tail no less), so I wasn't sure how much more gas/clutch to give... well, turns out I was in first... haha, scared the crap out of me when that front wheel was over my head... so I get pulled over, I'm laughing thinking the whole situation with 1st accidental wheelie with a cop behind would be funny... he didn't see the humor... lawyer got it dropped for a not-so-nominal fee. Still, lawyering up def pays in the end!
