Hey Marcus you should ask Tony D, he always has very nice easy spinning wheel, guess he knows what to do from AC Farias or some other Euro pro.

I am not talking about Tony D, yeah that may have worked for him. But what I am saying is that isn't the problem on Marcus' bike.

Re: How do you get your front wheel to spin

What's up marcus! There really is no secret to get a nice smooth spinnig front wheel... it's just bike prep and making sure all your parts are in very good working order, straight, and mounted up right.

Make sure you have good life left on the pads.

Make sure the rotors are straight (most likely they are)

Make sure your bearings are working smooth, a little light grease never hurt

Have someone check your froks cause i think alex said they might be tweaked... only thing to do there is to replace what is bent

AND #1 Problem most people have that causes their wheel to spin crappy... they OVERTIGHTEN the axle...

when you install the axle, it doesnt need to be torqued down at all, the PINCH bolts are what keep it from spinning!!! I tighten my axle just enough for me to be comfortable, then tighten the pinch bolts close to factory spec with my built-into-my-arm-torque-wrench. DONT OVERTIGHTEN PINCHBOLTS, or you will break the bottom part of the fork.

Hope that helps!!! When i get down there this winter to ride with you ill take a look at it!

cause his brake pads are not touching the rotors... that is just for his wheelies... you have to pump the brakes back up before you can stoppie when it's like that... listen to nags, he knows

Oh and no wheel is going to spin that good with the brakes pumped up! as long as the wheel goes around a couple times, you're good!
