bike wont start, and its my fault!!!!
to start off with my bike is an 02 f4i, anyway, i was taking off all my fairings today because im in the mist of getting them painted, so i take the left and right sides off, and i turned on the bike for i dont know what reason, but i turned it off, then i took off the front fairing with headlights and all, which of course i had to unplugg some wires. well after all that, it wouldnt start anymore, the motor is turning but it just wont start, i asked a buddy of mine if this happened to him when he took his front stuff off and he said yea, so i plugged everything back up (dont know if i did it right or what) but i still have a bike that wont start....any help is well appreciated!!!! thanks in advance

Let me guess when you plugged everything back up the headlight wasn't mounted. The tip over sensor was still tilted and therefore tripped. Just bypass that $hit if you are going street fighter I believe you connect the two outside wires and tape the center. I am too lazy to look in my service manual PM me if you really need to know and I will get off my azz and check 4 you

well if you are stunting it then i would say bypass it, other wise you can leave it, the head light needs to be upright. if you turn your key on and move your headlight to the mounted possion you will hear your fuel pump kick on. some racers bypass it as well, because sometimes if they are taking a turn and they slide a bit and get a good wobble it will shut there bike off.

Re: bike wont start, and its my fault!!!!
if it worked till u unpluged it n u didnt beat the crap out of it, n u plug it in n have the headlight leveled right an it dont start still, its not the tip sensor, try to jump start it, check your fuses and have your cumputers and cgi box checked out
