bypassed the tip over... solved the throttle power problem...
but now my idle is going crazy... it'lll sit at 2500.. and then jump randomly to 4k... put it in gear and goes back down...

you leave the bike on in neutral... and its not keeping a steady idle.

(need to change my fork seals... and my exhaust muffler fell out.. lol)but yeah... any suggestions?
depending on the year f4i,,,, my roomate had the same problem with fluxation in the idle... the idle screw that comes stock with the f4i is actually a fuel mixture screw... so like on a warm day your idle will fluxate... to solve your problem you just need to get a second idle screw and take ur tank up and screw it into the idle screw spot.....

Re: F4i for a 636??

before you jump to conclusions.... and to know I wished you a happy thanksgiving before I read this...

it's simple, I have been in Los Angeles for the past 2 and 1/2 weeks... I've already apologized to Chris, and he understood, and was not offended that I was away for business...
you have your fuel pump and bent fork back they are on the side of your house... it is not a matter of being man enough or too much of a puss...
it's simple and you guys will never get it...
and for that matter, you are simply not worth my time.. attack me all you want...

only time can tell..

hope you both had a wonderful thanksgiving!

Re: F4i for a 636??

haha not at all, I posted this days prior to any of that but I think everyone should buy either a triumph, buell, or Kawasaki and back those who back us, sure. I rode Zackie Chan and Aaron Coltons bikes last weekend. I liked them and I have spare F4i's so I thought it would be nice to double dip and have both. The F4i is a tank, I'll always have one for when I want to learn something new.
