T'RIC'KY will become famous soon enough
Re: New SSB Mag!

Hahahaha ask me!

I have luck if mine arrives here cause someone is always stealing it, don´t know where....Postoffice, Airport...however, I have to Email SSB to send them all in a neutral cover cause I´m tired of asking them for replacement.

actually, they only used 1 pic from the actual "ride" but you couldnt even tell it was taken on the street!!!!

but other then that 1 article, great mag as always
You know, this issue especially there is MORE riders in it then any other issue EVER! There's only 100 pages in the mag, and not everyone can make it every time. I personally see to it that as many riders make it in as possible.

John, i NEVER said it wasnt a great Mag. i think its the best issue yet and it seems like its gettin better and better!!! MAD PROPS for the work you put into this mag and helpin out the sport.

i just didnt like the fact that we helped put together this "big" ride for Super Street Bike and it hardly got any love. i mean come on now, SIC Nate did a wheelie for over 1 1/2 miles with a cop LITERALLY 15ft behind him and couldnt even get his name mentioned. to me, thats "KILLIN THE STREETS". but 3 guys who didnt do 1 wheelie what-so-ever did. but i guess, whatever, whats done is done. this is more of like advice to help the editors help improve on things. i was just givin my on that article in particular cuz i was there for the event.

Yeah, blatantly illegal behavior on bikes is exactly the kinda thing that we can celebrate and make a big deal about on the pages of our magazine, and not worry about catching heat from advertisers or newsstand distributors or readers and jeopardize whatever little bit of hard-won credibility we have in this industry. I mean come on now...

Sorry, but we just can't get away with printing stuff like that in a major newsstand pub like SSB. In the eyes of many who are paying attention to what we are doing with this magazine (right or wrong), running a cover shot of your boy rockin' a wheelie down a crowded highway directly in front of a cruiser with the lights blazing would be akin to running a story on how to beat up grandmas and steal their social security checks or something.

It's the truth.

Couldn't you have put up the pic then put a caption below it saying the ride was police escorted, kind of as an inside joke, but at the same time cover your *ss? Could be wrong, but couldn't that be doable?

That issue was the best yet BTW. :YEAH

you must be misunderstandin me, which i can see how bein that this is the internet. i TOTALLY understand why you didnt wanna use the pics from the streets. and i RESPECT that. i see your point of view but i guess youre not seein mine.

but at the same time, it was a "super street bike ride". and you guys even mentioned in the article that they killed the streets in the ride. some of us were even told that they wanted to make sure the "stunters" were in the front of the group so they can get some good pics of a big group of bikes in the background while stuntin. so isnt that contradictin yourself?

i guess what it comes down to is that some people didnt get credit where they should have and some people did where they shouldnt have.

anyways, keep up the good work with the mag. i was just hopin my would help improve on some things. lookin forward to the next issue

Re: New SSB Mag!

my on ssb, ...can I get some wheelies n stuff on the cover again? not back to back non-practical bikes? otherwise I'd like to see more stunt riding than custom/race bikes(but hey, I'm biased)

ya that's what I noticed, they gave everyone props which was cool!! Everyone puts in the same effort to make it to these events and very few actually dont come out of it loosing money to get there. It was nice to see everyone get a pic:YEAH
