i actually fully agree with that, though i built my car from the groupnd up, i learned to work on old skools and currently restoring a 69 mustang inline 6 to get the 302 swap in memory of my grandmother. i can beat a v-8 corvette but im on turbo and a inline-6 swapped motor from a supra almost doubling my discplacemnt and torque, but if the corvette was boosted too like the ligenfielter zo6 that used to test run at sears point, they were shaken high 9's, so stock for stock a corvetter will take me, easily

hahaha i got my scca license in 2003 and started wrenching in 95 where i helped with my first engine swap and was the primary mechani under guidance, but then again, thats alright seeing as i was only born in 85'. so agewise, im a bit more advanced then you would be especially if i was the same age as you, i was workin at livermooe audi saab and subaru at 17, need i explain how to do a vf-34 turbo upgrade with injector, fuel pump, greedy fmu and boost controller? or how to throw a vortech remote mount blower on a mustang gt after installation of a windsor 351? how about stroking 1 350 to 383?
