Yes, I believe ol' Teach is the current king of bike drifting. I'm sure he's got me beat in skill right now but not seat time. I was drifting pretty heavily on the 929 back at King of the South ,May 2005. Rick Nasty and Joe Vertical can confirm that.
Bob and I were the first ones drifting sportbikes back in spring '05... got the idea from watching ama flattrack. We decided to give it a try at slower speeds in the lot on day and waalah!!! after some practice it worked!!
Pretty sure we had the first vids with some basic drifting...then I edited that badass video for Teach that really got the idea out there. (Teach was the only other guy to have drifting in a video besides us at the time) And it has just been growing from there...
If there is one thing I'd like to say 256North contributed to this sport was the idea of drifting. Not saying we were absolutely the first...but close !

teach is the drift king but brett come on 2005 ...i remember kyle driffting around the parking lots here in fla in like 03 i think matt gorka may have been driffting then too but it was along time ago
