U should look into getting rid of that ugly coolant resevoir too. I finally did mine. Very similair set up to the one did in the GSXR sticky on SL. Works great and looks 20 times better

Re: true 12
yeah the bike is definitely more stable when its more vertical, also when you get your bar more broken in and scraped up more of it will be touching the pavement and that will help out bigtime also. gixxer subframes just need to be reinforced and they are fine.

Re: true 12
there wasa discussion on this.. and i believe the outcome was balance past idle slow wheelies was considered 12 o clock..back in the day.. and touching tail/bar was just considered scraping.

Re: true 12
12 o-clock is the point where the bike will not fall forward nor backwards.
SCENARIO: If you stand it straight up (pretend the bike wont fall sideways) put one person on the front of the bike and one in the rear...you should each be able to balance the bike with 1 finger. If your accelerating while riding a wheelie your less than 12...scraping or doing coasters your past 12. 12 o-clock axle to axle is false since you have more weight (on the one side than the other side of the line between the axles).

I think of it completly opposite that...
12 oclock is jsut what it states, 12 oclock. Striaght up and down. Balance point is NOT 12 o clock... Your no '12ving out' unless your wheels/axles whatever are a 90 degree angle to the ground.
Balance point is more like 10:30/11:00
Aaron colton scraping is around 1:00 :YEAH
Balance point
12 o'clock

Re: true 12
ive been told i have a one in a million gsxr. Ive dropped, scraped, dropped from 12 on its side and all that **** but the only thing thats given me problems is the front fairing stay. And now that ive said that my ****ing frame will break today . I will post pics of the frame brace this is the best i have for now.
the brace is welded together at the top and drilled through the 12 bar and subframe.
